On December 4th, Yuba County Clerk Terry Hansen completed a 3-day recount of the November 3rd Marysville Mayoral election and concluded that there was no change in the outcome. The election was originally certified with Chris Branscum receiving 1645, City Councilmember Stephanie McKenzie 1641, and Mayor Ricky Samayoa 618 votes

The article, ad, mailing or social media post aims to sway public opinion by presenting false or biased information in a way that appears objective and truthful. Or, it can also be used to derail a movement or candidate early in the campaign.

Most Californians learned about ‘ballot harvesting’ in 2018 after election night as conservatives were leading in a number of SoCal races. Then, at the last minute, boxes of ballots arrived to flip seats from red to blue. Conservative losers were suspicious. Libs said nothing to see here.

Governor Newsom is using the Covid Scamdemic to skirt the law, violate the Constitution, abandon the legislature and direct the state as a dictator. After months of Newsom essentially laying-off the representatives of the people, two Republican Assembly members Kevin Kiley and James Gallagher on June 12th asked Sutter County Judge Perry Parker for a Temporary Restraining Order suspending the Governor’s latest executive order as a violation of the Constitution. The order was granted.

The current impasse on opening our counties by throwing-off nonsensical Covid restrictions has nothing to do with health and everything to do with the lack of political will. Supervisors and councilmembers blame their inaction on the complexity of government.

The latest Fair Political Practices Commission finance reports reveal that California Water Service (CWS), a private for-profit water company serving Marysville contributed $5,000 to Mayor Ricky Samayoa’s re-election effort. This is a sore subject for rate-payers feeling exploited by the utility.
