Yuba-Sutter Health Officer Phuong “Nurse Ratchet” Luu’s closing of campuses during the contrived ‘Covid Crisis’ has been an unexpected blessing. Parents are discovering the intellectual wasteland of public schools.
Once distance learning was announced for classes, many instructors panicked since parents held hostage at home could now witness the pitiful scholastic diet fed to students. Pupils and teachers were both failing.
Meanwhile, teachers unions argue against instructors ever returning to the classroom and demand first defunding the police, eliminating homelessness, canceling private and charter schools, increasing taxes on the wealthy, implementing Medicare for all, and of course billions more for education.
While the union works to convince school boards that teachers are overworked due to distance instruction, national surveys reveal nearly 50% of workers at home admit using alcohol as well as being distracted with domestic demands during work hours. They are at home because it’s too dangerous to leave the house.
The chances of a student dying from Covid are far less than succumbing to the annual flu, a car accident, drowning or choking on food. Since educators are some of the smartest people in town maybe one of them could discover any child dying of just Covid without any other complicating ailments since January 2020. And, if that child is found, is a death or three worth traumatizing millions of families when we have never stopped the education universe for children perishing from the flu, asthma, cancer or suicide?
Do the unions need a 100% guarantee that neither a teacher nor a child will catch a cold in order to return to the classroom? This shutdown is really about unions controlling both schools and society. It’s called communism.
Union leadership actually hates the Founding Fathers’ America and has been prepping students for communism for decades. According to union leadership and its teacher propaganda America is evil and has to go.
Thanksgiving is so controversial that teachers were encouraged to tell students about worshipping ancestors and the moon, anything but Americana. Since communism says there is no God, the campus is a Jesus-free zone while any other deviant and weird belief is celebrated.
Communists don’t need well-informed independent thinkers, they prefer indoctrination. The Founding Fathers insisted on literate free-thinkers that understood where they came from, the Constitution, ‘ciphering’ and current events, geography, the Bible and the vision for the nation. Literacy rates were better under home and local school America versus Europe and even our government schools today. “A native of America that cannot read and write is as rare…as a comet or an earthquake.” (Written in 1776)
The teacher, politician and leader of today are intellectual midgets compared to the Founders. To create an intelligent and informed populace the founders touted universal education. However, nearly immediately the government control of education was usurped by socialists that diluted and discarded Judeo-Christian values and beliefs.
Even young children once studied the Constitution using “Catechism on the Constitution” as well as the Bible which provided the moral foundation of the founding documents. Early Americans spoke better proper English than in England according to Daniel Webster. There was no colonial Ebonics.
Many early orators attributed their eloquence to extensive Bible reading. Such was the case of Abraham Lincoln. The beauty of the Gettysburg Address and his many remembered sayings were not derived from college training, for he had none.
Generations of parents have now been dumbed-down through tainted and deviant curriculum. However, there may be an awakening as the percentage of homeschooled children nationally has doubled during the Covid sham. Gallup says that 10% of students were homeschooled in 2020.
Compared to the 1980’s there is now an abundance of rich homeschool curricula. Families can connect with superior teachers and tutors via technology and do it all with far less time and torment than subjecting children to Covid ‘prison camps.’ Parents are forming associations to get equipped and embellish studies with expert speakers, athletics, music, art and spiritual training.
While the communist Covid movement seeks to crush intellectual freedom it is losing control of many parents and their children for the good of the country.
